Welcome to SearchAvenue's beta site. SearchAvenue is a metasearch portal; in one search interface it combines searches in over 25 blog search engines, blog directories, and blog portals, including the popular Technorati and IceRocket. Given the fact that blog search engines search very different areas of the blogosphere, they each return very different results, and it's only by combining them in a single interface that SearchAvenue can guarantee the best coverage. SearchAvenue removes duplicate results among search engine results, and warns you of broken links. You can select results of interest (using the checkboxes), add notes to them, and save and share them with others. Yes! You can share your search results with others!

SearchAvenue also allows you to search for information that traditional search engines don't have access to. The "deep web" or the "hidden web" as it's called in the industry, is a collection of millions of documents that are archived in databases of all sorts. Most of these documents do not appear in web pages that traditional search engines can index. Another type of technology is needed to search them. That's what InterQuery, the search engine behind SearchAvenue, is doing. Today's search categories include Web, News, Health, Kids, Reference, and Jobs.
